Michelle Baum, COO & Co-Founder of The Nova Method, shares her public relations and entrepreneurial journey with Bold Journey Magazine.
“The best marketing and communications start with listening.”
That idea is at the heart of how we work at The Nova Method, and it comes through clearly in Bold Journey’s recent interview with our COO and cofounder, Michelle Baum.
After starting their careers together and later leading separate agencies, Michelle and our CEO, Christine Perkett, reunited to merge their firms and launch The Nova Method around a shared belief: audience understanding drives stronger marketing and communications.
In the interview, Michelle shares her perspective on building strong partnerships, work ethic, leadership, empathy, entrepreneurship, and why audience understanding matters more than ever in modern marketing and PR. She also touches on how AI is reshaping the modern communications industry.
We’re proud to see her featured and even more excited to keep building an agency designed for where communications is headed next.
Thank you, Bold Journey, for the conversation.
One of the areas we’re especially focused on right now is the intersection of communications and artificial intelligence. We’re both deeply engaged in the space. Christine and I are members of Women Applying AI, and I serve on the AI Board at Metropolitan State University of Denver. We’ve also launched new AI visibility and optimization services to help our clients improve their “surfaceability,” essentially helping brands show up and stand out in AI-driven search and discovery environments.
